Built in 1978, Laguna Park is a 99-year leasehold project located along Marine Parade Rd facing the East Coast Beach. Although it is considered an old project, it is still a very sought after place primarily because of its location, size, and open-space.
The Layout of the rooms is all spacious and “squarish”, thus you will not have any problems with “weird” slants and corners that can be a challenge when fitting certain furniture. The sizes range approximately from 14xxsqft to 16xxsqft; penthouses are about double the size. From the balcony, there are generally 2 types of facing, North-west (Land facing) and South-east (Beach facing).
Over the years, Laguna has been through constant upgrades, both privately and collectively. From its humble beginnings with only the tennis courts and a playground, it has now have facilities that most condos have like a big pool, security, function hall, fitness area and gym.
Laguna Park is within close proximity to food and shopping like the popular East Coast Seafood Centre, Fisherman's Village, Cable ski and Siglap Centre (Cold Storage). Educational institutions like Victoria School, St. Patrick’s, Tao Nan Primary, Katong Covent and Victoria Junior College are all located near Laguna Park too. With the ECP expressway, you can reach the Airport in 10mins and 15 to 30mins to CBD, depending on traffic. And last but not least - the beach, arguably the most serene and scenic part of the East Coast Beach.
Laguna Park’s nearest MRT is at Bedok MRT Station with a 10mins or less bus ride.
